Dear Crafty Crafter
The Crafty Craft race is back again and this time our theme is Battle
of the Bands
Many of you have entered craft into this annual event before, and if you
have you will know what a fun-filled, rewarding event this can be. Some of
you have not entered previously, now is your chance to do so. I would like
to extend an invitation to participate in this year’s race, which
will be held on Bank Holiday Monday May 3rd.
As always, the main beneficiaries of all your efforts will be charities,
and Newbury Round Table supports local causes. We will be announcing the
main beneficiaries at the end of February..
So, for those of you who want to paddle or pedal from Hungerford or
Kintbury to Newbury, you can download your entry
form and a sponsorship
form. If you would like to provide some information about your team
(the number/age/gender of team members, how long it took to make your
craft, unusual materials used in the construction, any charities you are
collecting for, etc) then that can help add some interest to commentaries
and prize-giving ceremonies.
